They recently won the state of Georgia's 'Manufacturer of the Year' award. Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO of Kia Motors America and KMMG, Inc., accepted the award on behalf of the plant's 3,000 team members, saying, "We would not be in this position for achievement without the unyielding support of the State of Georgia, the Department of Economic Development, and in particular, Georgia Quick Start, which has been our partner in workforce training from the very beginning."¹

The Quick Start program has been implemented by Kia to fully train their workforce and its been paying off. The consistent high quality work coming out of the factory was why Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia took home the award.
