2011 Sorento SX

Kia has introduced their 2011 Sorento SX to the public after rolling it off their Georgia assembly line to rave reviews. According to the Korean-based auto maker Sorento is the #1 selling vehicle in the company's line-up.

Available for pre-order now at Lokey Kia in Clearwater, the Sorento has a wide range of trim lines - including a luxury and entertainment package - with leather interior and DVD/surround sound/navigation system. There's also a back-up camera.

So what makes the all new Kia Sorento better then the competition? Well first off, the Sorento SX is powered by a 276 horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine, coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and available with 2 or 4-wheel drive.

Additional amenities promised in future Kia models include a hybrid version of the Sorento. Kia has displayed a diesel-powered Sorento hybrid at last year's Frankfurt auto show, but there is no evidence they will be producing it anytime soon for North American markets.

The Sorento SX arrives in showrooms this summer. Pricing for a base Sorento starts at $19,995, while the current range-topper, the Sorento EX, fitted with optional all-wheel drive, costs $28,895.

So head down to Lokey Kia at 27960 U.S. Hwy 19 North, Clearwater and check out an American-built vehicle - the 2011  Kia Sorento SX
